Frequently asked questions
What is camouflage top coat used for?
GLOSS Camouflage Top Coat is a tinted finishing gel that evens out the nail plate appearance in a single layer. It is especially useful for clients with nail discoloration, uneven nail tone, or visible ridges. It also creates specific nail looks — white tips for french nails, black for graphic nail art, or cream for a soft cover finish.
What shades does GLOSS Camouflage Top come in?
GLOSS Camouflage Top is available in Black, White, Cream, Natural, and Caramel — five versatile shades covering the most common applications in a professional salon setting.
How is camouflage top coat different from a regular top coat?
A regular top coat is clear and purely for sealing and shine. Camouflage top coat is tinted — it adds color coverage while also functioning as a finishing coat. It is not a replacement for a clear top coat in most standard gel polish services.
Can I use camouflage top coat on nail extensions?
Yes. Camouflage top is popular for giving builder gel or acrygel extensions an even, polished base tone before applying gel polish or wearing as a clean, finished look.
Does camouflage top coat need to be cured under a lamp?
Yes. GLOSS Camouflage Top Coat is a gel product and requires curing under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds under a 48W lamp. It cures to a non-tacky finish — no wipe step needed.
Is this product soak-off?
Yes. GLOSS Camouflage Top Coat is soak-off compatible. Remove using acetone-soaked foil wraps for 10–15 minutes, the same as any other gel product in the GLOSS system.
