Frequently asked questions
How many bright and neon shades does GLOSS carry?
The GLOSS Bright Gel Polish collection includes 59 highly pigmented neon and vibrant shades — covering neon strawberry, Pink Barbie, electric blue, lime green, neon orange, and dozens more.
Do neon gel polishes cure fully under a standard UV/LED lamp?
Yes. GLOSS neon shades cure fully under a standard UV/LED lamp. Use a minimum 48W LED lamp for 60 seconds per coat. Some neon pigments are slightly less lamp-reactive — if you see any tackiness after curing, do a second pass for 30 seconds.
Are neon shades opaque in two coats?
Most GLOSS neon shades reach full, vivid coverage in two to three thin coats. Because neon pigments are inherently lighter in weight, a third coat is sometimes needed for maximum color depth.
Which bright shades are most popular for summer nails 2026?
Pink Barbie (502), Neon Strawberry (500), Neon Bright Orange (504), and electric blues are consistently the top-selling summer shades. These are perfect for summer nail designs 2026 and all pair well with chrome or glitter accents.
Can I mix bright shades for ombré effects?
Yes. GLOSS bright gel polishes blend easily for ombré and gradient nail art while uncured. Blend on the nail with a small flat brush or sponge, then cure once your gradient is set.
Will bright colors fade under sunlight?
GLOSS gel polishes are formulated to resist UV fading. Sealing with GLOSS Top Coat UV Filter (available in the Transparent Top range) provides additional protection against color shift from sun exposure.
